Meet Our MIYAD Team

Suz

Suz is our Project-Co-ordinator and Driving instructor.  

Suz is an awesome driving instructor, with nerves of steel and the patience of a saint. 

Volunteers - Driving Mentors/Companions

We have some amazing Volunteers focused on assisting our clients with their logbook hours - Mike, John, Anne, and Dave

Mike

Pre-retirement, Mike was a registered nurse and mental health nurse, plus a range of other occupations. Originally from the UK, Mike has been living in Australia since the age of 17, and in Albany scpecifically since 2018 and was previously a volunteer for the Wheels for Work Program. He is a great asset to our team for our clients who suffer from mental health issues.

John

Pre-retirement, John was a police officer. Currently living in Kendenup. He drives the School Bus and is available to our clients in the Mount Barker/Kendenup areas.

Meet our Care Shuttle Team

 Mary Williams 

Mary has worked tirelessly to bring the Radiation facilities to our Region. Since the opening of the Genesis Care facility at the Albany Hospital in 2023 where Mary's efforts were met by funding from the Federal and State Governments for 2 Radiation Machines at the Albany Hospital.

Noeline Rowsell

Noeline is our Care Shuttle Co-ordinator and Volunteer Shuttle Driver. As a semi-retiree Noeline arranges all of our appointments with clients and volunteer drivers.
